Land Rover Series 3 200tdi, Fairley overdrive. Falkirk, Stirlingshire Scotland
First registered on 04/02/1980. 6 months TAX/MOT. Fresh marine blue and limestone.
Purchased 13/02/2009 from Gemm 4x4 Falkirk. They had carried out the
200tdi conversion and fitted all
new/reconditioned ancillaries. On receipt we transported to
my good friend’s workshop and fully stripped off
all panels and interior taking the vehicle back
to chassis and running gear. Then fully rebuilt by me and my
good friend who has spent most of his career
working under the bonnets of exotic Ferrari race
cars, so attention to detail during the built was second
to none.
The vehicle has received:
- New doors, sides, tops and rear.
- New glass all round.
- New door mechs and hinges. Period wing mirrors.
- All new light clusters.
- All trim reconditioned and powder coated.
- Professionally painted inside
and out in original period marine blue and
limestone to a very high standard.
- New deluxe seats. New rear bench seat also.
- New dog guard fitted. Can easily be
removed.
- New carpet trims along with new rear rubber
load liner and all seals.
- New tow facility and electrics.
- Reconditioned original wheels and brand new
tyres. Spare wheel not shown though have a
selection for either bonnet
mount or rear internal clamp.
- Correct period pressed steel reg plates.
Mechanically very strong and
shows no signs of weakness. All fluids and oils, engine and diffs been
renewed under 300 miles ago. All brakes have been renewed, drums, cylinders,
master cylinder and shoes within the last 200 miles.
As you can see this vehicle has
been lovingly rebuilt using new parts wherever
possible. Every nut, bolt and
rivet in the body rebuild has been replaced to
give that new but still period look.
Reason for sale is lack of use. Has
spent 90% of time since rebuild in dry storage.
Please come, view and take a test drive. If Land
rovers are your passion you will not be
disappointed. Turns heads wherever it goes.
Time wasters will not be

Landrover Deffender 110 double cab £4250 J reg 1991, diesel. Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside
Mileage is: 127,428. 200 tdi engine with kenwood electric fan, head
gasket done 2 weeks ago. Galvanised chassis (no
rust at all on this). Toad remote alarm system
and separate immobiliser. HD springs all round.
BF Goodrich A/T on dragon five spoke alloys in
good condition. Checker plate kit fitted. Has
Recaro bucket seats fitted to original frames.
This vehicle has never let me down, starts first
time everytime, pulls like a train. It is not
however in mint condition, has a couple of small
dents in wings, was patched on roof by previous
owner, but is hardly noticable. This has been a
working truck for me so has paint scratches in
the back etc. MOT valid till June 2011.
Has been untaxed for the last week, but six
months tax will be put on if sale price is met.
Plenty of years left in this one. Genuine reason
for sale. Veiwing welcome.
